Fourth of July: Sugar Cookies!

Hello Everyone, Hope you would be ready for the 4th of July! Now it is time to eat your pride of being an American! I found some star shaped sugar cookies that really stood out to me. I am going to try this and I hope you will do the same. I will create another post to tell you how they turned out so stay tuned. Happy eating!, Brayden INGREDIENTS: 1 ½ cups butter, softened 2 cups white sugar 4 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 5 cups all-purpose flour 2 teaspoons baking powder 1 teaspoon salt RECIPE: Step 1 In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cover, and chill dough for at least one hour (or overnight). Step 2 Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). Roll out dough on floured surface 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick. Cut into shapes with any cookie cutter. Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Step 3 Bake 6 to 8 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely.

Fudge Puddles!

Hello everyone and welcome to Make It or Bake It! I found an awesome recipe for Fudge Puddles by an author on allrecipes they are little cake looking desserts with chocolate chips for the filling. If I could add some delicious candy to this dessert than I would put M&M candies inside instead of chocolate chips. I think that they look like something I would want to try and I bet you would like them too! The recipe given on their website is enough for a whole celebration with a serving size of 24. If you want you can take leave the pecans out of this dessert because that is added after baking so it doesn't make a huge difference. I think that the video on the website really is not a time waster because it is only 0:46 so feel free to watch it on the recipe page along with it. This dessert could work well with ice cream on the side if that is an option you would like to try. Check back for more delicious recipes and reports, Brayden

The Story of the History of Graeter's!

Graeter's History It started when Louis Graeter was on the streets going around selling ice cream. He was successful in selling 2 carts full! He married a woman named Regina and they moved to 967 East McMillan Street. There they started selling ice cream in the front of their store while preparing it in the back. When Louis died in 1920, Regina decided to keep making ice cream as best as she could in french pots. She rejoined her 2nd generation family and during the Great Depression they purchased a factory to continue making ice cream. In winter, Paul, a member of the family, added the bakery to ice cream shops. After Regina died and Paul retired, Wilmer's Children Dick, Lou, and Jon and soon Kathy joined their father in the factory. They all decided it was time for an update on the machinery. So, they made the machines safer and easier to use. They expanded the factory and enlarged ice cream productions. After a while they were able to ship their ice cream to Kroger and no
